About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive Warehouse Supervisor to take ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations for a well-established business based on the North Shore.
Reporting to the GM of Operations and Head of Sales & Service, you’ll coordinate inbound and outbound goods, local and international dispatch, inventory and internal stock requests. You’ll work closely with the Customer Service, Service, Production and Accounts teams to keep everything moving accurately and on time.
What You'll Do
- Manage inbound and outbound warehouse operations and ensure orders are dispatched on time
- Coordinate local and international shipments, including export documentation
- Maintain accurate stock levels, bin locations and FIFO practices
- Receive and check incoming goods and ensure stock movements are accurately recorded in the ERP system
- Process spare parts and raw material requests for Service and Production teams
- Assist with stocktakes, cycle counts and resolving stock discrepancies
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiency
- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or senior warehouse role
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management
- Experience using an ERP or warehouse management system — Abel experience is an advantage
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a busy environment
- A proactive approach to improving processes
- Commitment to health and safety
- Forklift licence/experience is preferred
