Tech 5 Recruitment is seeking experienced Solar Farm Workers for several utility-scale solar projects coming online in the Masterton area next year. With multiple sites in the pipeline, this is an opportunity to secure ongoing work in one of New Zealand’s fastest-growing sectors.
About the Role
You will join a large-scale solar farm construction team, working across site establishment, piling, installation and quality assurance. Candidates with prior solar farm experience will be prioritised.
Key Responsibilities
- Site set-up and establishment
- Piling works for solar mounting structures
- Assembling and installing mounting structures and solar modules
- Assisting with tracker system set-up ( GameChange Solar / Nextracker experience preffered)
- Quality assurance, including torquing, alignment and inspection checks
- General site labouring and support duties
- Complying with all site safety procedures and reporting requirements
- Prior solar farm construction experience (prioritised)
- Sound working knowledge of GameChange Solar and/or Nextracker mounting and tracking systems
- Experience in site set-up, piling or quality assurance is an advantage
- Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual work in an outdoor environment
- A strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- The legal right to work in New Zealand
