The Opportunity
We are currently seeking experienced Carpenters and Roofers to join our clients’ teams across the Wellington region.
Our clients are well-established construction companies with strong pipelines of residential, commercial, and civil projects. They are looking for reliable tradespeople who take pride in their workmanship, work safely, and can contribute positively on site.
Whether you specialise in framing, formwork, renovations, fit-outs, roofing, or general carpentry, we want to hear from you.
About the Role You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of projects, including:
- Residential new builds and renovations
- Commercial construction projects
- Structural carpentry and framing
- Formwork and concrete-related carpentry
- Interior and exterior fit-outs
- Roofing installation and repairs
- Cladding and finishing work
- Timber and steel framing
- Roof framing, truss installation, and roofing works
- Formwork, boxing, and concrete preparation
- Installing cladding, weatherboards, and exterior finishes
- Interior fit-outs and finishing carpentry
- Doors, windows, architraves, and skirting
- Reading and working from plans
- Maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Following site health and safety requirements
To be successful, you will have:
✅ Proven carpentry and/or roofing experience
✅ Minimum 2 years’ construction experience preferred
✅ Own tools and reliable transport
✅ Valid NZ driver’s licence
✅ Good understanding of site safety practices
✅ Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
✅ Strong work ethic and reliability
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Trade qualification, Site Safe Passport, EWP, Working at Heights, or other relevant tickets are advantageous.
