About the Role We’re looking for experienced carpenters to join long-term residential insurance repair projects based in Palmerston North. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with guaranteed hours, consistent work, and weekly pay.

You’ll be carrying out repairs and reinstatement work on homes damaged by events such as leaks, weather, or accidental damage. The role is hands-on and varied—perfect for someone who enjoys quality finishing work, working indoors/outdoors, and bringing homes back to life.

What You'll Be Doing

• Timber and steel framing repairs
• GIB fixing and patching
• Internal fit-outs, skirtings, architraves
• Window and door installations
• Flooring and cladding repairs
• Reading scopes of work and job documentation

• 2+ years of carpentry experience
• Your own full set of tools
• Valid driver’s licence + reliable transport
• Site Safe (or willingness to get it)
• Able to pass a drug test and have a clean criminal record
• Great attitude, good communicator, tidy workmanship

• $30 – $35 per hour, paid weekly and on time
• All PPE provided free
