We’re on the lookout for an experienced and motivated STMS (Level A/B or higher) to join a team delivering essential work across Dunedin. If you’re someone who takes pride in running safe, efficient sites and keeping things moving, this could be your next step.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing traffic management across a range of sites—both reactive and planned—ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and in line with best practices. You’ll be the go-to on site, leading from the front and keeping both your team and the public safe.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing traffic control setups across multiple sites
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Adapting traffic management plans using a risk-based approach
- Working closely with crews, clients, and stakeholders on-site
- Championing safe work practices and leading by example
- STMS Level A/B qualification (or higher)
- Full Class 2 licence (ideally)
- Ability to transition into the NZGTTM framework
- Strong understanding of risk-based traffic management
- Previous experience as an STMS (construction industry experience a bonus)
- A proactive attitude and solid communication skills
- Competitive pay: $30 – $32 per hour
