Site Engineer – Stormwater & Wastewater
National Travel Required

Our client is a leading multinational civil contractor delivering critical stormwater and wastewater infrastructure programmes across New Zealand. They are seeking a motivated Site Engineer to support the delivery of network maintenance, condition assessment, and rehabilitation works.
With confirmed work for this role through to late this year and a strong forward pipeline, this is an excellent opportunity to build experience in the rapidly growing three waters sector.

Your New Company

Your New Role
As a Site Engineer, you will support the delivery of stormwater and wastewater infrastructure projects, working closely with site teams, supervisors, and clients.
Key here, is assisting with site-based coordination and liaison in a professional way. You will have support with the technical aspect and an opportunity to learn and grow. There will be involvement in planning, execution, and reporting across a variety of network-focused projects.
You will:
  • Assist in the delivery of stormwater and wastewater works
  • Coordinate site activities and support project planning
  • Ensure accurate data capture and reporting for asset management purposes
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders on site
  • Monitor quality, safety, and productivity
  • Support project documentation and administration
  • Regular travel, including overnight stays, will be required.

About You
You will bring:
  • A qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience in civil and infrastructure works
  • Exposure to Water and Drainage is highly regarded
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Good organisational and problem-solving ability
