With a healthy pipeline of secured work and continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Christchurch team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of project finances, mentoring others, and contributing to the successful delivery of commercial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Cost planning, estimating, and project budgeting
- Subcontractor procurement and administration
- Management of variations, progress claims, and final accounts
- Project forecasting and cost reporting
- Contract administration and risk management
- Financial management of multiple commercial projects
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
- Providing commercial guidance and support to project teams
- Minimum 5 years' Quantity Surveying experience within New Zealand commercial construction
- Proven experience managing project costs from procurement through to completion
- Strong understanding of NZ construction contracts and commercial processes
- Excellent commercial acumen and attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and contribute as a senior member of the team
