We're seeking a Senior Commercial Foreman to join a respected Christchurch-based business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial construction projects. About the Role
Reporting into the Construction Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
This is an off-the-tools leadership role where you'll oversee a variety of team sizes, coordinate subcontractors, manage programmes, and drive site performance from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and mentoring site teams and subcontractors
- Managing daily site operations across commercial construction projects
- Driving a positive health and safety culture
- Monitoring project programmes and site progress
- Ensuring quality workmanship and compliance standards are achieved
- Proven experience as a Commercial Foreman, Senior Foreman, or Site Manager
- Strong background delivering commercial construction projects
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Sound knowledge of New Zealand construction practices and health & safety requirements
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and keep projects on programme
