Scaffolder / Formwork Installer - Wellington

Tech 5 Recruitment is seeking experienced Scaffolders and Formwork Installers to join a leading construction team delivering specialist scaffolding, formwork, falsework, and propping solutions across major civil, commercial, and infrastructure projects.

Our client is a highly respected construction solutions provider supporting some of New Zealand’s largest projects. They specialise in delivering safe, efficient, and innovative temporary works solutions, including scaffold systems, Doka formwork applications, falsework, and propping solutions for complex construction environments.

About the Role
We are looking for skilled and reliable workers who can contribute to the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects.

Your responsibilities may include:
  • Erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding systems safely and efficiently
  • Installing and working with scaffold systems including Ringlock, Tube & Clip, and other access solutions
  • Supporting formwork installation and temporary works activities
  • Working with Doka formwork systems including:
    • Column formwork
    • Climbing formwork
    • Single-sided formwork
    • Circular formwork
    • Slab and floor formwork
  • Assisting with falsework and propping systems including:
    • Acrow Props
    • Panel Props
    • Shoreloading systems
    • Soldier beams and temporary support systems
  • Following project plans, site procedures, and strict health and safety requirements
  • Working collaboratively with site teams to deliver quality outcomes on programme
About You
We are looking for reliable, safety-focused candidates who take pride in their work and are committed to delivering quality results.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in scaffolding, formwork, temporary works, or a similar construction environment, along with:
  • A valid Working at Heights certification (or willingness to complete the required training)
  • A current Site Safe Passport (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Previous experience working with Doka formwork systems (preferred)
  • Confidence working at heights and in physically demanding environments
  • A strong understanding of health and safety practices on construction sites
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A reliable attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to follow instructions
The following experience and tickets are highly regarded but not essential. We welcome candidates who are willing to undertake further training, develop their skills, and progress within the construction industry:
  • Scaffolding qualification (Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced)
  • EWP ticket
  • Experience with falsework and propping systems
  • Previous experience with temporary works and access solutions
  • Additional civil, commercial, or infrastructure construction experience
