Roofing Foreman – Palmerston North

Tech 5 Recruitment is seeking a skilled Roofing Foreman for a leading trade contractor with over 40 years of experience delivering high-quality commercial and residential roofing solutions. About the Role You will lead a team of roofers on-site, manage project timelines and materials, liaise with site managers and clients, and ensure all work is completed to high-quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise roofers and coordinate on-site activities
• Install long-run and membrane roofing systems
• Plan labour and material needs in advance
• Read and interpret roofing plans accurately
• Record project updates via SimPRO
• Mentor apprentices and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Identify and communicate job variations to management

• 3–5+ years of roofing experience (leadership/foreman level preferred)
• Confident in managing people, time, and client relationships
• Qualified roofer or strong experience in long-run/membrane systems
• Site Safe, Working at Heights, and EWP certified (or willing to obtain)
• Strong communication and planning skills
• Applicants must be NZ Citizens, Permanent Residents, or Residents
