A seasoned property developer operating across Otago is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the delivery of multi-million-dollar developments at a commercial scale. This is a key coordination role within a process-driven, high-standards environment, suited to someone highly organised, detail-focused, and experienced in New Zealand construction projects.
About the Role
As Project Coordinator, you will support the Development and Project Management team across all stages of construction delivery. The role focuses on procurement coordination, materials and inventory management, quality assurance documentation, and council compliance, ensuring projects are organised, compliant, and running efficiently on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate procurement and ordering of materials, tracking deliveries and inventory
- Maintain quality assurance systems, inspections, and documentation
- Manage and track council documentation, inspections, and compliance requirements
- Support site teams with materials management and site logistics
- Maintain accurate project records, registers, and reporting
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal project teams
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Project Coordinator or similar role within the New Zealand construction sector
- New Zealand construction experience is essential
- Strong understanding of procurement, materials management, QA, and compliance processes
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Experience using Procore (or similar construction management software) will be advantageous
- Currently based in Queenstown or the wider Otago region
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
