What's on offer
- $28–$29 per hour, depending on experience
- Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
- Work based in Christchurch
- Opportunity to work with a grounds maintenance team
- Operating push mowers and ride-on mowers to maintain grass areas
- Using line trimmers to tidy edges and hard-to-reach areas
- Carrying out general mowing and grounds maintenance duties
- Checking and looking after mowing equipment
- Keeping outdoor areas clean, tidy and well-maintained
- Following health and safety procedures while working on site
- Current Growsafe certification (mandatory)
- At least 6 months of professional experience as a Mower Operator or in commercial grounds maintenance
- Previous hands-on experience using push mowers, ride-on mowers and line trimmers
- Full Class 1 NZ Driver Licence
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work well as part of a team
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Able to pass a Ministry of Justice (MoJ) criminal record check with a clean result
- Legal right to work in New Zealand
