Your new role
You'll be the person clients see on site, so how you work and present matters as much as your trade skills. You'll handle a mix of planned maintenance projects and reactive repairs and maintenance (R&M), often working on your own and managing your own day.
- Carrying out carpentry repairs and maintenance in commercial and light industrial buildings
- Working on small refurbishment and maintenance projects from start to finish
- Picking up painting and general maintenance tasks where you have the skills
- Talking with clients and tenants on site, and keeping them in the loop
- Leaving every job tidy, safe and finished to a high standard
- At least 10 years' hands-on carpentry experience
- Maintenance skills (a bonus, but not essential)
- A professional, polite, and friendly manner with clients
- Clear communication. You'll need to talk comfortably with clients and the team
- A full Class 1 New Zealand driver licence
- Competitive hourly rate
