With a significant pipeline of work and continued growth across multiple sectors, they are seeking a experienced Quantity Surveyor to take a key leadership position within their Christchurch operation. This is a unique opportunity to combine hands on project delivery and team leadership.
The Role
Reporting into the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the commercial performance of the business, overseeing project financial outcomes while providing guidance and support to an established Quantity Surveying team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, mentoring and developing a team of Quantity Surveyors
- Managing the commercial performance of a diverse project portfolio
- Overseeing budgets, forecasting, cost planning and financial reporting
- Contract administration, procurement and subcontractor management
- Identifying commercial risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Maintaining key client, consultant and supplier relationships
To be successful in this role, you'll be an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong commercial mindset and a genuine passion for leading and developing people.
