Roadmarking Operators must have previous experience operating line marking equipment and working on civil, roading, or asphalt projects. Experience with thermoplastic, specialty coatings, or high-friction surfacing is highly regarded.
Assistant positions are also available and may suit candidates with labouring, civil, asphalt, or outdoor work experience looking to get into the industry.
Operator duties may include:
- Operating line marking equipment
- Applying roadmarking products and coatings
- Supporting roadmarking crews onsite
- Working around live traffic environments
- Surface preparation and setup
- Assisting operators onsite
- Loading materials and equipment
- General labouring and site support
- Previous roadmarking experience for Operator roles
- Reliable and safety focused attitude
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors
- Full Class 1 NZ Driver Licence essential
- Available shifts:
- day shifts (Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 7:00 pm)
-night shifts (Sunday to Thursday 7:00 pm to 7:00 am)
- Class 2 licence
- WTR endorsements
- Traffic management tickets
- Thermoplastic or specialty surfacing experience
