Multiple Civil Projects Across Auckland
Tech 5 is looking for experienced Drainlayers to join our team across a variety of civil infrastructure and subdivision projects throughout Auckland.
We're keen to hear from both qualified/registered Drainlayers and experienced Drainlayers who have developed their skills on the job but aren't yet ticketed. If you've got solid drainage experience and know your way around a trench, we want to hear from you.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Installing stormwater, sewer and wastewater drainage systems
- Laying PVC, PE and concrete pipe
- Installing manholes, cesspits and sumps
- Reading plans and setting out drainage runs
- Working safely around existing underground services
- Working alongside excavator operators and civil crews
- Carrying out drainage work to a high standard
- Proven experience in civil drainage or drainlaying
- Qualified/Registered Drainlayers encouraged to apply
- Experienced Drainlayers without formal registration are also encouraged to apply
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Full Class 1 Licence (Class 2 and WTR are advantageous)
- Site Safe or ConstructSafe is beneficial - or willing to obtain
- Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand
