About the Role
We are seeking reliable and motivated Electrical Trade Assistants to join our client’s team on a range of commercial and industrial projects across Christchurch. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands‑on electrical experience who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, supportive environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting registered electricians on commercial and industrial sites
- Installing cable trays, ladder racks, conduit, and fittings
- Pulling cables and supporting equipment installation
- Using hand and power tools safely and confidently
- Following site safety procedures and contributing to a positive team culture
- Previous experience as an Electrical TA or similar trade role
- Strong practical skills and a willingness to learn
- Site Safe (or willingness to obtain)
- EWP, Working at Heights, or other tickets are an advantage
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug test
- Competitive hourly rates based on experience
- Weekly pay
- Fully supplied PPE
