An opportunity has arisen to join a specialist legal services business working within debt recovery and litigation. This role would suit someone with a civil litigation background who is experienced in litigation processes and confident managing files and court documentation.
You will have the opportunity to take ownership of litigation files and manage matters through the court process from instruction to enforcement.
The role is primarily office-based, with flexibility available once you are comfortable managing your workload autonomously.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage debt litigation files from instruction through to enforcement
- Draft and file court documents including statements of claim, affidavits, and judgment applications
- Monitor deadlines, court timetables, and file progress
- Assist with enforcement actions such as charging orders, attachment orders, bankruptcies, or liquidations
- Liaise with clients and provide updates on matters
- Experience in civil litigation
- Strong understanding of District Court and High Court litigation processes
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage files and deadlines effectively
- Salary up to $100,000 depending on experience
