An opportunity has arisen to join a specialist legal services business working within debt recovery and litigation. This role would suit someone with a civil litigation background who is experienced in litigation processes and confident managing files and court documentation.
You will have the opportunity to take ownership of litigation files and manage matters through the court process from instruction to enforcement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage debt litigation files from instruction through to enforcement
- Draft and file court documents including statements of claim, affidavits, judgment applications, and enforcement applications
- Monitor deadlines, court timetables, limitation periods, and file progress
- Progress proceedings through the District and High Courts in accordance with court rules
- Coordinate with clients, counsel, and investigators where required
- Assist with enforcement actions including charging orders, attachment orders, bankruptcies, and liquidations
- Provide clear updates and reporting to clients on active matters
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legal and procedural requirements
- Civil litigation experience is non-negotiable
- Strong understanding of District Court and High Court litigation processes
- Confidence managing files and progressing matters independently
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and high-volume workflows effectively
