Queenstown based | Established Main Contractor | Commercial Projects
An opportunity has arisen with a well-regarded main contractor for an experienced Commercial Project Manager to join their Queenstown team and take responsibility for the delivery of a strong pipeline of commercial construction projects.
This role will see you managing projects from early engagement and pre-construction through to completion and handover. You will play a key leadership role across programme, cost, quality, safety, and stakeholder management, working closely with site teams, consultants, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
This is a position offering genuine autonomy, long-term stability, and the opportunity to deliver high-quality projects in a premium construction market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Full end-to-end project management across commercial construction projects
• Managing project budgets, cost reporting, forecasting, and financial performance
• Programme development, coordination, and oversight to achieve key milestones
• Leading and coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and consultants
• Managing procurement, contracts, variations, and risk
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety, quality, and company systems
• Driving project performance to achieve time, cost, and quality objectives

• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering commercial construction projects
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets, contracts, and risk
