We are seeking an experienced Class 5 Chipper Seal Driver/Operator
to join our team in Hamilton and assist with road surfacing and maintenance projects. This role involves operating specialist machinery to spray, spread, and roll chip seal, ensuring smooth, high-quality road finishes while maintaining a strong focus on safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate chip seal and related machinery safely and efficiently
- Spray asphalt emulsion, spread aggregate, and roll to embed the chips
- Follow site traffic management plans and work collaboratively with the crew
- Conduct minor maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Maintain accurate records of daily work and site activities
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in chip seal or road surfacing operations (references required)
- A current and clean Class 5 driver’s licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Pay: Starting at $30/hr (depending on experience)
