We’re on the lookout for an experienced Class 4 Hydro / Jetting Operator to join a high-performing wastewater team in Dunedin.

About the role
You’ll be responsible for carrying out hydro excavation, jetting, and maintenance work across wastewater and drainage networks—helping keep essential infrastructure running smoothly.
Key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking hydro vacuum excavation projects to a high standard
- Safely operating vacuum and jetting units on underground works
- Completing hydro-jetting, cleaning, and unblocking of drainage networks
- Carrying out routine vehicle and equipment checks
- Completing all required paperwork accurately and on time
- Performing general maintenance duties as required
- Following company procedures and health & safety guidelines at all times
- Reporting hazards, incidents, and near misses to improve safety performance
What you’ll bring:
- Class 2 and/or Class 4 driver’s licence
- Dangerous Goods (DG) endorsement
- Experience operating hydro/vacuum or heavy equipment
- Proven ability to work as part of a high-performing team
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Reliable, physically fit, and able to work in a hands-on environment
