With a strong reputation for quality workmanship and a team-first culture, they are now looking for a Certifying Plumber/Gasfitter/Drainlayer to join their team.
This is more than just a tools-on role — it’s a site leadership opportunity where your expertise drives quality, compliance, and performance.
The Role You’ll be working across commercial and residential projects, managing installations, maintenance, compliance, and mentoring on-site.
Plumbing
- New builds, renovations & maintenance
- Hot water systems & gas central heating
- Commercial fit-outs, boilers & multi-room systems
- Inspecting, testing & certifying work
- Natural Gas & LPG systems
- Heating & hot water installations
- Commercial appliance installs
- Testing & compliance certification
- Residential & commercial drainage
- Trenching, repairs & new builds
- Reading plans & laying to spec
- Supervising site drainage works
- Certifying and ensuring NZ code compliance
Leadership & Site Responsibility
- Represent the company professionally onsite
- Work alongside project managers & contractors
- Mentor apprentices and junior trades
- Provide technical input for quoting & estimating
- Take ownership of quality, productivity & compliance
What We’re Looking For
- NZ Certifying Licenses in Plumbing, Gasfitting & Drainlaying (essential)
- 3–4+ years’ industry experience
- Strong leadership & communication skills
- Tech-confident (SimPRO or similar systems)
- Site Safe, Confined Spaces, Working at Heights (or willing to obtain)
- NZ Citizen / Permanent Resident / Resident
- $38–$42 per hour (based on experience)
