Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in doing things right the first time? We’re looking for reliable, hard-working individuals to join our aircraft cleaning team based at Auckland Airport.
This isn’t your average cleaning job — it’s an important role that keeps aircraft safe, hygienic, and ready for passengers between flights. You’ll be working airside in a dynamic environment where time is critical, teamwork is key, and every detail matters.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Clean aircraft interiors between flights — including seats, trays, floors, galleys, and toilets.
  • Replenish cabin supplies (toiletries, seat pockets, blankets, etc.).
  • Safely remove rubbish and waste.
  • Report any damage, missing items, or maintenance needs.
  • Maintain strict compliance with aviation safety, security, and hygiene standards.
  • Work efficiently under tight turnaround times — some days you’ll be moving quickly from aircraft to aircraft to keep up with flight schedules.
What we’re looking for:
  • Availability to work a rotating 24/7 shift pattern(including nights, weekends, and public holidays).
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
  • Clean criminal record(required for airport security clearance).
  • Full NZ driver’s licence — shifts often start/finish outside of public transport hours.
  • Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred (aviation, hospitality, or transport experience a plus).
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and biosecurity procedures.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in confined spaces and varying weather conditions.
  • Reliable, punctual, and a genuine team player with great communication skills.
  • Able to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety instructions.
  • Must pass Airport Security Clearance and drug & alcohol testing prior to starting.
If you’re up for the challenge and want to be part of an important operation that keeps our skies moving — apply today!
