​Monique originates from The Netherlands and has lived in New Zealand since 2017. She comes from a strong background in finance and recruitment, with the last decade spent working in corporate recruitment for a specialist automotive servicing and repair company with centres all over Europe. Monique brings expertise in job advertising, searching and selecting talent, running bulk recruitment campaigns and talent onboarding to deliver the best candidate experience for Tech 5 and sister company Tempz Personnel in our Tasman/Nelson branch.

Monique came to New Zealand for love and initially based herself on the West Coast as the proprietor and promotor of social enterprise The Lifeboat NZ. She also worked in pest control and as the school bus driver in her local community before moving to Tasman to be closer to her passion of sailing. Outside of work, if she’s not sailing, you’ll likely find Monique swimming or at home baking!
