Hamish comes to Tech 5 with a background in commercial and residential building and recruitment.

He began his career journey as a builder, where he played a pivotal role in building supermarkets across the South Island. After completing a degree in human resources and management, Hamish decided to change careers to become a recruitment consultant in the building and construction sector.

Hamish enjoys the process of building relationships and finding the right person for the job. With his construction experience, he can empathise with clients and understand future needs and requirements.

Hamish thrives in nature, whether at the top of a mountain, off-piste skiing or tramping deep in the bush.
