Evan’s journey in construction began in 2009 when he started out as a Labourer before completing his apprenticeship and becoming an NZ Qualified Brick and Blocklayer with an Auckland-based company. His hands-on experience across various construction environments gave him a deep appreciation for the industry and the people who make it thrive.

In 2016, Evan took his passion for construction in a new direction, stepping into recruitment and specialising in Construction Trades. Since then, he’s been supporting clients across the Civil, Commercial, and Residential sectors, helping connect skilled tradespeople with opportunities that align with their experience and goals.

With over a decade of industry expertise, Evan’s success comes from his in-depth understanding of the construction sector and the people within it. He takes pride in making the right match — every time — by taking the time to understand each client’s specific needs and maintaining high standards for every placement. Evan values strong, ongoing relationships with both clients and candidates, ensuring trust, communication, and satisfaction remain at the centre of every partnership.

Outside of work, you’ll often find Evan relaxing at the beach or kicking back with a good book (never a bad one).
