Evan commenced his construction career in 2009, initially starting as a Labourer before completing an apprenticeship, leading him to become NZ Qualified Brick and Blocklayer with an Auckland based Blocklaying company.

Still passionate about the construction industry, Evan joined the recruitment industry in 2016, specialising in Construction Trades Recruitment and being involved in supporting the Civil, Commercial and Residential markets.

With 10+ years of experience specialising in construction, his success comes from an in-depth understanding of the sector and the candidates he places into new and existing roles with his clients. Evan aims to make the right match every time he does this by understanding his client’s requirements and having high standards for the people he and his client employ. He also strives to maintain a close relationship with clients and candidates to ensure their needs are being met.

Outside of work, he enjoys heading down to the beach or putting his feet up and reading a good book (as opposed to a bad one).
