Appliance Technician

Our client is currently seeking a great Whiteware Appliance Technician to join their team based in Christchurch. You will bring with you, enthusiasm, a willingness to complete work to the highest level and providing exceptional service and customer satisfaction.

This is a full-time role and will require you to work on a roster during standard open hours, which can include after hours and weekend work.

About the Role:

• Installations, diagnosing and technical repairs and maintenance of appliances, whiteware and air conditioners
• Ensure that all data entry requirements are completed and maintain accurate service records
• Communicating confidently with customers in a professional manner
• Contribute actively in site toolbox meetings and general health and safety meetings
• Ongoing learning & development opportunities

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience fixing whiteware
• Good mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Minimum qualification of Electrical Appliance Serviceperson (EAS)
• Current New Zealand driver’s license
• Excellent written and verbal English
• Strong time and task management skills
