About the company:
Our client is a well-known security and fire alarm company that has been around for over 50 years reducing risk for their clients. They cover the entire process from the design stage all the way through to installation and maintenance, which is what makes their customer service stand out above others.

They have a reputation for their high health and safety standards, problem solving skills and for their highly experienced teams, making sure the job is done right every time. They put their success down to their communication, after sales service and their passion for the industry. Due to their growing work load they are now looking for an enthusiastic, experienced security alarm installer or service person to lead their business forward. There is a couple of roles available here - in both their servicing and installation teams.

About the role:
  • Cable pulling, installing and commissioning security systems
  • Carrying out testing to ensure wiring, equipment and controls are all installed correctly and working to standard
  • Servicing and maintenance on existing security systems
  • Managing resources effectively and efficiently
  • Managing time frames and the company’s high-quality standards
  • Customer service and building and maintaining client relationships
  • Ensuring high health and safety standards, and company systems are adhered to at all times

Skills and Experience:
  • Ideally a qualified EST or electrician, or similar trade qualification
  • Must be technically minded, with a strong background in fire or security installations and/or maintenance
  • Diagnostic/trouble shooting skills, and be able to think quickly on your feet
  • Programming or networking experience would be beneficial but not required
  • Be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team and get along well with everyone
  • Be willing to go the extra mile and be honest and trustworthy
  • Be professional, well presented with a positive attitude and high levels of communication
  • Site safe would be beneficial, although we can assist you in getting this if needed
  • MUST have a full drivers license AND be able to pass a criminal background check
