ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client here in Nelson is a major New Zealand producer of quality solid timber products for both the domestic and international markets
We are currently looking for motivated workers who are keen to further their knowledge in this unique industry. Don't be intimidated if you don't have experience, full training will be provided.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Sawmill operators may do some or all of the following:
· Sort, stack and grade timber
· Package and wrap timber for delivery
· Operate sawmill machinery
· Check and maintain equipment
· Clean the work areas and equipment
PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS
· Safety-conscious
· Practical and efficient
· Full clean driver licence
· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
· Ability to work in a team, but also with minimal supervision
