About the company:
Our client is a well known company that provides residential and commercial building and construction services. They cover the entire process from the pricing and design stage all the way through to maintenance, tailoring every request specific to the client’s requirements. They put their success down to their quality assurance standards which ensures they go above and beyond for every customer. Due to their growing work load they are now looking for a Health & Safety Manager on a temporary basis, which may evolve into a permanent position for the right person.

About the role:
  • Improving planning and training processes
  • Improving on current client and subcontractor contracts, processes and review systems
  • Reviewing and improving on reporting and auditing processes
  • You will be reporting straight to the director, and assisting with initiating company-wide changes in systems and processes
  • Assisting with software changes and creating new forms within their existing systems
  • Ensuring high health and safety standards, and company systems are adhered to at all times

Skills and Experience:
  • Must have previous Health & Safety management experience
  • Must have previous construction experience, ideally residential but open to assisting with civil or larger construction sites
  • Proven experience with high volume system maintenance and Health & Safety processes
  • Competent using computers and computer applications such as Microsoft Office and other softwares
  • Multi branched processing experience would be advantageous
  • Fast learner and able to pick up on new systems quickly
  • Need to be adaptable and open to implementing change and new ideas into the workplace
  • Able to think on your feet and get along well with everyone
  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to lead and train others
