They are a rapidly growing company who are now in need of a Service Manager to assist with managing their increasing workload and staffing numbers.

About the role:
  • Managing the company’s service division in all aspects
  • Leading teams of service technicians, electricians, and apprentices
  • Reporting directly to the company directors
  • Dealing with clients and facility managers
  • Managing resources and deadlines
  • Maintaining and improving on both internal and external relationships
  • Quoting small service jobs and always looking to take on more business and grow the division
  • Ensuring high health and safety standards, and company systems are adhered to

Skills and Experience:
  • Need to have proven experience in a similar management position
  • Ideally be a fully qualified, EWRB Registered Electrician, however this is not a deal breaker
  • Experience using job management software and other project management tools
  • An excellent understanding of service work components and deliverables
  • Experience managing teams of up to 10 technicians, electricians, and apprentices
  • Strong customer focus, communications skills and the ability to manage relationships
  • Proven leadership skills and be able to handle high-pressure environments with excellent decision making and time management skills
  • Must have great attention to detail, be an excellent multi-tasker and take pride in your work
  • Strong health and safety background
  • Passion to learn and grow within the business
  • A great sense of humour, and gets along well with everyone
