With their rapid expansion they are currently on the lookout for a Branch Manager to oversee day to day operations in their Bay of Plenty branches. This dynamic role would cover two different branches, so the candidate could be based in either Tauranga or Rotorua.

About the role:
  • Day to day operations of the branches
  • Reporting directly to the Regional Manager with weekly progress reports
  • Maintaining and developing both business and customer relationships
  • Identifying and implementing growth opportunities within the company
  • Establishing an overview of the performance and management of the branches to ensure they meet all statutory requirements
  • Maximising branch profit
  • Enhancing the company brand in all available markets
  • Contract management and purchasing of materials and services within budgets

Skills and Experience:
  • Need to have at least 5 years’ experience in similar management positions
  • A good understanding of the electrical or renewable energy industries with project management experience in these fields
  • EWRB Electrical qualifications would be beneficial but not required
  • Strong customer focus and ability to manage relationships
  • Asset management experience
  • Drive to increase sales activity and constantly look to build the business
  • Must have a proven ability to improve systems and increase effectiveness and efficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven leadership skills and be able to handle high-pressure environments
  • Passion to learn and grow within the business
  • Must have great attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong health and safety background
